Our mixers

Brian Mckeever

MIXER

After joining Soundtrack in December 1992, Brian swiftly moved up the ranks, eventually taking over Studio E. In 1998 he left to do software product management at Cakewalk Music Software in Cambridge. However, after realizing how life can be dealing with software engineers, Brian returned to Soundtrack in June 1999 and is now enjoying life back in a creative and fun environment. Brian’s clients include Toyota, Merrill Lynch, Titleist, Mass Mutual, Baileys, Putnam and Salem Five Bank.

John Raffaele III

MIXER

As a former Media Arts Production graduate from Emerson College, John came to Soundtrack with the vision of expanding his creative talents and passion for audio-post production. John hopes to offer his specialization in long format Sound Editing + Mixing, along with Music Production & Sound Design to every project that comes his way regardless of the task. John has had the opportunity to work on some amazing film/TV productions such as The Boston Strangler, the Spiderwick Chronicles, The New Look, and several others as an ADR Recordist.

Howard Carle

Mixer

Howard began his career as a musician and composer in the recording industry after attending the Julliard School for Music in New York. At Soundtrack, Howard has mixed TV and radio spots for Constant Contact, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Fidelity and Biogen.

Mike Secher

MIXER

It takes a special ability to grasp a creative concept and add to it in a way that is consistently groovy. Mike Secher does so with style and grace. An award-winning mixer and sound designer, Mike’s work primarily consists of television and radio commercials. As a talented composer, he graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a double major in Music Performance and Sound Recording Technology. Mike started at Soundtrack Boston in 1996 and has contributed his aptitudes to clients such as Progressive, Jack Daniels, Liberty Mutual, ezCater, and Home Depot.

Kevin McLaughlin

MIXER

Kevin McLaughlin brings a wealth of sound experience and innovation to his Soundtrack clients. Recognized for his work with an array of awards, including Emmy, Clio, and Hatch, Kevin is sought after by both celebrities and startups for his skillful mastery of sound. He is a triple threat audio activist, bringing his voiceover talents to the party – most recently voicing “Traindoc” on BBC Worldservice’s “Rulebreakers” Podcast – and as a copywriter, scripting new projects for Lonza Biologics, Boston-Manchester Regional Airport, and New Hampshire State Parks. Some of Kevin’s notable works are: CODA, Killing Eve, Jurassic World: Domination, Bob’s Burgers, and Free Guy!

Brian Heidebrecht

Mixer

Quite possibly Soundtrack’s most traveled engineer, Brian has worked at Eastern Sky in Florida, Master Audio in New Jersey, The Mix Place, and Mixed Nuts in NYC before settling down in Boston. Brian has been a commercial mixer at Soundtrack since 1999 and has worked on a wide variety of national and regional brands, from Anheuser-Busch to Zillow. Outside of work, Brian’s favorite activity is watching his boys play baseball.
